4/6/2024 0 Comments Amd fx 6300 specificationsIf you look that you have an Intel Core i3 3240 for the same price and then to the benchmarks you immediately see the difference, this CPU runs smoothly with Intel i5 CPUs in a price range that is 2x higher than its own.Īn advantage over Intel is that all FX processors are further unlocked. Because of intel (I've always had intel) this is just ridiculously little money for a very strong CPU. The price/performance ratio of the FX-6300 can therefore not be faulted at all. This is built into an asrock 990fx extreme 3 motherboard (bought the bundle with cpu, motherboard and ram and is more than worth the money) (miss, there is still a bundle with video card for the laymen :) ) I am still coming from an intel e5300 dual core and the difference in speed with this fx-6300 is fantastic. in terms of budget you are definitely in the right place with the fx-6300 if you want some more computing power then pay 40 € more and go for the fx-8320, this one uses more power than the fx-6300 (95w vs 125w) this can't be seen as a downside unless you really want a frugal PC But for those who still want to work with a separate video card, AMD offers an excellent price / performance ratio with the new FX chips. Intel still makes the fastest processors in the world and AMD still doesn't come close. In multi-threaded benchmarks, differences of well over 50% are not uncommon. this six-core FX-6300 is on average 31.6% faster than a Core i3 3220.
